The first trailer for Elysium, from District 9 director Neill Blomkamp, was heavy on the wow, light on the plot. With this new longer look, the first thing that gets accentuated is just how crappy life is for about-to-die Matt Damon. We proceed to learn a little more about what a buzzkill Jodie Foster is, and how sparkly Elysium itself is. Then Sharlto Copley shows up as someone called Kruger and things start to go boom.
