O.J. Simpson Hoping for Role on Anger Management

O.J. Simpson appears at an evidentiary hearing in Clark County District Court May 16, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Simpson, who is currently serving a nine to 33-year sentence in state prison as a result of his October 2008 conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping charges, is using a writ of habeas corpus to seek a new trial, claiming he had such bad representation that his conviction should be reversed.

O.J. Simpson, apparently tired of being in prison, wants to be on Anger Management. Simpson’s “longtime promoter†Norman Pardo tells the Post that he’s spoken to a production executive at FX about getting the currently incarcerated Simpson on the somehow-not-incarcerated Charlie Sheen’s deplorable sitcom. “O.J. would play a thinly veiled version of himself — a famous con who’s pissed off about being unjustly incarcerated,†Pardo says. Pardo also claims that the FX executive told him, “Anger Management with O.J. Simpson? That would be a perfect fit!’†It all seems very unlikely, given that Simpson is currently serving a 33-year sentence in a Nevada prison, but the whole world truly is full of improbabilities.
