The young and beautiful were drawn from their air-conditioned havens like moths to lanterns benefits, launch parties, birthday parties, movie-premiere after-parties, breakfast events, and even a garden party this week. Jennifer Garner, the new face of the MaxMara Accessories campaign, celebrated her appointment alongside guests like Solange, Kate Lanphear, Natalie Joos, and Christina Hendricks. Simon Doonan posed at a breakfast at the Breslin celebrating Rupert Sanderson’s launch at Barneys; Bill Cunningham was spotted taking snapshots at the Frick Collection Garden Party; Chelsea Leyland D.J.’d in a one-piece bathing suit; and Calvin Klein ambled across a green lawn outdoors at Coach’s Cocktails at Sunset event benefiting ACRIA.
