If there’s anyone up for the job of making Walt Disney into the cuddly mogul Disney always dreamed of, it’s Tom Hanks. In the trailer for Saving Mr. Banks, Disney’s tasked with charming Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers (as played by the perfectly uptight Emma Thompson) into giving him the rights to the book. Watch as Hanks’s California tan battles Watson’s London pallor, and we can only hope that a Hawaiian-shirt-wearing Don Draper pops up somewhere in the background.
