The theme park Universal Orlando recently opened a miniature version of The Simpsons’ hometown Springfield. Here’s a photo of the personalized name tag selection, which features a nice Simpsons in-joke: “Bort†name tags. It’s a reference to Bart Simpson trying to find a personalized license plate with his name on it in the Season 6 episode “Itchy & Scratchy Land,†only to find that they have “Bort†and no “Bart†and that Bort is apparently a very popular name (clip below). Needless to say, the Bort tags sold out right away because how could you see one and not by it? (via)
