As we type these words, Kate Middleton is in some stage of childbirth within the well-guarded walls of the Lindo Wing at London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. We won’t know anything about the baby until the palace formally announces its arrival via easel, so until then, we must wait calmly GO COMPLETELY INSANE. But our crazed anticipation is weaker than decaf tea compared to that of the journalists, camera crews, tourists, and random fans camped out in the Lindo Wing’s parking lot, most of whom have been there for days or even weeks.
