Breaking Bad star Jonathan Banks is coming to Community. Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut on Breaking Bad, will appear in 11 episodes of Community’s upcoming 13-episode fifth season as Pat Nichols, “an intense criminology professor with a mysterious background in military and police work,†EW reports. His first episode is the second one in the season. Community currently doesn’t have a spot on NBC’s 2013-14 schedule, but it should be debuting sometime at midseason with creator Dan Harmon and right-hand man Chris McKenna back on the show. Jonathan Banks is the second Breaking Bad actor to pop up on Community, following Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring), who has guested in two episodes.
