James Gandolfini’s final starring role is in writer-director Nicole Holofcener’s Enough Said, where he plays a divorced dad who falls for a massage therapist (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). She in turn accidentally befriends his ex-wife (frequent Holofcener star Catherine Keener), and everyone looks exquisitely but imperfectly sun-kissed, so articulate are they about their neuroses and hang-ups. Holofcenter said in June after Gandolfini’s death that he’d been a reluctant romantic lead, which seems crazy, because he seems so tender and loveable in this trailer. Enough opens next month.
