Forget about “Native American–inspired headdresses” and under-butt-revealing jorts, the guests at MAC’s Lollapalooza party at Chicago’s Vertigo Sky Lounge nailed understated festival style. Pastel platforms, psychedelic tie-dye T-shirts, and makeup designer Amelia Arsenic’s Ecto Cooler green hair streaks set the standard. While the girls of HAIM (above) D.J.’d — showing off their Fleetwood Mac–esque natural beauty — guests like the Dolls’ Mia Moretti and Margot experimented with MAC’s matte pastel lip paint.
