The heat has seemed to die down a little around people complaining about Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, so it seems like a fair time to look back at the act he’s following. In honor of Tuesday’s release of The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition, they released a segment about Christian Bale’s audition, focusing on that weird growl he invented for the movie. As you’ll see, Amy Adams filled in for the Katie Holmes part, as a favor to the casting director. So maybe Batman vs. Superman will focus on a love triangle — a super-love triangle.
