Yes, the sequel to 2011’s surprise hit about dudes who hate their jobs is a go and original cast members Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day are all on board, as is Jamie Foxx. Since (SPOILER ALERT) the trio effectively defeated their work overlords in the original Horrible Bosses, directors Sean Anders and John Morris — who wrote this summer’s We’re the Millers — had to seek new corporate villains for the sequel. First up, there’s the ever-dashing Chris Pine, whom Variety says will play “half of a father-son duo that steals the main characters’ idea for a new invention.†According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers Brett Ratner and Jay Stern were hoping that Christoph Waltz would play the dad, but sadly it appears they had no such luck.
