Those who like to see Nicole Kidman play up her Australianness will be glad to learn that she has just signed on for Strangerland. Variety reports that the new project, with director Kim Farrant at the helm of a script by Fiona Seres and Michael Kinirons, has also cast fellow Oz natives Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce in the “mystery drama about a couple whose teenage children go missing in the Outback.†We’ll have to wait to see if a dingo is responsible.
