When you’re on the air for a billion years like The Simpsons, you’ve got to find ways to shake things up. Sometimes that has meant messing with the classic couch gag. In this Sunday’s episode, they gave it The Hobbit treatment. Marge is Gandalf, Burns is Smaug, Moe is Gollum, and much more. They nail the walking, but we’re sure Homer was bummed not to get to experience all the film’s eating.
