Angelina Jolie wasn’t the only class act to win an honorary Oscar at this weekend’s Governors Awards. Steve Martin was given a lifetime achievement award because a career of making comedies, regardless of how many are classics, isn’t going to get you many traditional Oscars. Like Jolie, Martin too got emotional when talking about his family. Stupid families, always getting in the way of jokes.
