Like many kids, Angelina Jolie had a Disney character she loved the most. Unlike many, it was Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent. “I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite,†she told MTV back in 2010. In Maleficent, the story is told from the evil queen’s perspective. According to the film, Maleficent wasn’t always evil, but she turns that way after her peaceful forest kingdom is invaded. With vengeance on the mind, she puts a curse on the king’s daughter Aurora (Elle Fanning). The film is set for a May 30, 2014, release. If only we could just pass out right now and sleep until then.
