Parting is such sweet sorrow. This year, as in all years, we had to say good-bye to some of television’s most (and least) beloved characters and shows. Some will live forever in our hearts (30 Rock, The Office); some, not so much (we had already forgotten We Are Men was a thing that existed). But no matter what, attention must be paid. We put together this moving, slo-mo tribute to TV’s dearly departed. As the saying goes: ‘Tis better to have watched and lost than never to have watched at all (though in some cases, never having been watched at all was the cause of death). Warning: As this features many character deaths, there are obviously spoilers galore.
