Longtime late night host Jay Leno is embarking on the homestretch of his NBC contract, and he’s already being courted by several outlets including CNN. According to THR, CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker met with Leno in Burbank recently to discuss a possible late-night or primetime show, but Leno is apparently not entertaining any serious offers until his run with NBC officially ends on February 6th. CNN would be an interesting move for Leno, especially considering Zucker’s status as former President and CEO of NBC. Zucker unveiled plans for a late-night comedy push at CNN last year, so Leno might be his ticket to making the news even more laughable.
