We’ve known since Gladiator that Joaquin Phoenix is the king of sweaty menace, which is why we’re thrilled to hear the rumor that Warner Bros. wants him for their Batman vs. Superman film. The studio is allegedly interested in Phoenix for the movie’s main villain, who may or may not be Lex Luthor. Yup, strap on a bald cap, turn on that thousand yard stare and we’re good to go. Talent aside, everyone else in the world is already in the Batman-Superman movie, so why not Joaquin Phoenix? Why not Joaquin?
