How does a drama pilot about a female secretary of State penned by Homeland writer Barbara Hall and executive produced by Morgan Freeman strike you? Us too. Oh, and CBS as well, seeing as how they just picked it up. The show apparently features “a maverick female Secretary of State as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life.†You might have assumed Freeman and Hall would lean heavily on Hillary Clinton’s tenure for plot lines, but you never know. It sounds like they could easily go full Albright with this.
