The CW has renewed five of its current shows, the network announced today. Arrow, Reign, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural will all be back next season, which accounts for half of the CW’s programming hours. No word yet on the fates of Beauty and the Beast, The Carrie Diaries, or The Tomorrow People, plus the CW still has Star Crossed, which premieres next week, and The 100, which comes out in March. At TCAs a few weeks ago, CW president Mark Pedowitz said he wouldn’t be making final decisions on Carrie and Beast until May, so whatever sort of fan campaigns those shows might inspire should probably start organizing themselves now.
