Girls star and creator and Vogue cover girl Lena Dunham will host Saturday Night Live on March 8, with musical guest the National, NBC announced today. This is Dunham’s first time hosting and the National’s first time musical-guesting, so, big day all around. SNL’s season premiere this year included a pretty solid spoof of Girls, which Dunham at the time called “a true honor,†so perhaps we’re due for the return of Tina Fey’s Blerta. Or at least the return of Noël Wells’s Lena Dunham impression.
