NYFW Street Style, Day 2: Coats, Coats, Coats
While the rest of us are getting sick of stepping over snow piles and dodging deceptively deep puddles, the fashion set sees six more weeks of winter as countless opportunities to show their coat collection and ingenious creativity when it comes to practical yet stylish footwear. Eva Chen paired her snow-ready boots with a coat in Pantone-approved Radiant Orchid. (Perhaps a subtle nod to her rising status as Condé Nast royalty?) Both Karlie Kloss and Caroline Issa took a menswear approach to staying warm; Issa casually bundled up in a black-and-white varsity jacket. But not everyone is happy for more gray days: Linda Tol tried to invoke spring with her sherbert fur jacket and a sheer, light pink skirt, while blogger Aimee Song went bare-legged in open-toed gladiator sandals.
