NYFW Street Style, Day 5: Winter Deniers Edition

On the streets of Fashion Week, there’s a divide between the chill-deniers and the chill-embracers. The deniers rock cheery, thin layers and a forced look of comfort. The embracers skulk in their furs and try to look like they mind not at all. Yesterday, the aspirational dressers hoping for an early spring wore lots of white sneakers, a few different shades of robin’s-egg blue, one white fishnet top, tangerine coats, and yellow graphic prints. And then the practical realists sported dark-green scarves and fur (think Anna Wintour) or a somehow feminine and flouncy army-green jacket with fur lining (Eva Chen). It’s a decision every man and woman must make: Will you dress for the weather you want or the weather you have?
