For about a month, M. Night Shyamalan has been in production on a somewhat secret, small-budget movie, Sundowning. Shyamalan has called it a “microfilm,†with the smallest cast he’s ever worked with. Now the Wrap reports Kathryn Hahn and child actor Ed Oxenbould will lead this small cast. Hahn plays a single mother who takes her two children to see their grandmother. From there, scary stuff happens. Sundowning is a psychological phenomenon that occurs in some people with dementia, where increased confusion and restlessness occurs during or after sundown. Though it’s not definite that the movie is about this syndrome, Lady in the Water was about a lady in the water.
