In what turned out to be quite a super Friday, Prince announced an upcoming album (courtesy of a new partnership with his onetime overlords Warner Bros. Records) and did a surprise release of a new single, too. While we wait for the full album to be finished, go ahead and listen to “The Breakdown,†a smooth song about sadness, below. Back in March, Prince told Arsenio Hall that it’s currently his favorite song to play.
