In case you missed it, here’s all the big comedy stuff that happened this week:

-We reviewed the latest seasons of Parks and Recreation and Archer, both of which wrapped up this week.

-Will Hines gave a strong defense of the practical implications of improv.

-We reviewed Brett Gelman’s new Adult Swim special, Dinner with Friends with Brett Gelman and Friends.

 -We took a look at Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers, and American Dad!, three cartoons in three different stages of life.

-Time magazine unveiled this year’s list of the 100 most influential people, and Key and Peele made the cut.

-USA uploaded the pilot to Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair’s new show, Playing House, and Comedy Central uploaded the entire first season of Andy Daly’s Review.

-We examined The 206, the popular Seattle local comedy phenomenon.

-We interviewed Chris Gethard about his new comedy album and The Chris Gethard Show, Tim Carvell about being showrunner for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Brett Gelman about Dinner with Friends.

-Comedy Central ordered Ari Shaffir’s standup web series This is Not Happening as a TV show.

-Netflix hired Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz to work on a new series for them.

-HBO renewed Veep and Silicon Valley for a fourth and second season respectively.

-We looked back at the career of standup and SNL featured player Dan Vitale and a decade-old chat with the cast and crew of The Simpsons.

-The season’s final two SNL hosts will be Andy Samberg and Charlize Theron.

-Seth Meyers is hosting the 2014 Emmys.

-VH1 canceled Best Week Ever again.

-Stephen Colbert visited Late Show with David Letterman for the first time since it was announced he’d be taking over the show.

-Parks and Recreation writer Megan Amram’s first book, Science… for Her! is available for pre-order.

-We recommended the Twitter feed of Jon Savitt and the week’s best podcasts.
