Undeterred by brief showers on Saturday, crowds were out in full force for the New York art fairs this weekend. On the opening day at Frieze on Randall’s Island, everyone from artists to collectors to gallery employees turned out in their spring best — which meant black leather jackets, drop-crotch pants, and even — in the case of Gavin Brown Enterprise’s uber-chic Lucy Chadwick — fashion Birkenstocks with a drapey Céline top. The Cut’s photographer Bek Andersen was on hand to capture the passing parade, from white short-onesies to giant hats and blue linen suits.
