Mariah Carey’s 14th Album Has a Title, Release Date

… And it’s: Me. I Am Mariah … The Elusive Chanteuse. The title comes from a drawing that appears on the back of the album, a self-portrait Carey sketched when she was 3 and a half. The album’s new release date, May 26, comes after over a yearlong delay. (Remember when we were told the album was called The Art of Letting Go and that it’d be out last July?) No matter, Mariah promises her album will be as authentic as that childhood selfie, especially for “those of you who actually care and have been with me through it all.†Watch a video of her explaining it all below:
