Jason Bateman has signed on to direct his third feature film following Bad Words and the upcoming The Family Fang costarring Nicole Kidman and Christopher Walken. According to Deadline, Bateman will star and direct the currently untitled FBI/wedding-themed comedy originally written by David Flebotte (Desperate Housewives, Boardwalk Empire) and Phil Alden Robinson (Field of Dreams) with The Pest’s David Bar Katz tapped to rewrite the script. While there are no further details on the film’s plot, this news follows Bateman’s other recently announced projects, including a Horrible Bosses sequel and comedy-drama with Tina Fey This Is Where I Leave You due out September 19th.
