Two months ago, Prince released a single with the promise of a new album to come. Last night, as he is wont to do, Prince had a bunch of people over at Paisley Park to listen to it. A reporter for the Minnesota Star Tribune was one of that bunch, and he wrote about his experience. Besides a rap song featuring Rita Ora, maybe most interesting is a song called “This Could Be Us,†which, yes, is inspired by the #ThisCouldBeUsButYouPlayin meme that Prince himself was one of the subjects of. So, tonight we’re going to party like it’s 1999, and tomorrow we’re going to learn Photoshop.
