Here’s the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s let-my-people-go epic, Exodus: Gods and Kings, starring a goateed Christian Bale as Moses and an eyeliner-wearing Joel Edgerton as the Egyptian King Ramses. The trailer appears to harken back to the sprawling, bombastic Biblical epics of Hollywood’s golden age, right down to the questionable racial casting (yep, that is Sigourney Weaver wearing an Egyptian headdress). One other thing not shown in the trailer that we are particularly excited for: Aaron Paul as Moses’ sidekick, Joshua. Plagues, bitch!
