The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer might get to star in their own movie. According to Variety, the comedy trio is currently developing a film with Universal Pictures that they would also star in, with Judd Apatow onboard as director and Taccone and Akiva both set to co-direct. Not much is known on the plot of the movie except that it would be “set in the world of music.†This news follows the deal The Lonely Island made back in January to develop digital content for Fox, so hopefully this means we can expect the trio all over the big and small screens in the near future.
