A Glut of Crop Tops at the Teen Choice Awards
Last night, celebrities young in age, spirit, and sartorial inclinations gathered in Los Angeles for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. As expected, the red carpet was a familiar wash of pink stilettos, bright-orange dresses, and enough crop tops to put Coachella to shame. For the occasion, Taylor Swift kept her belly button covered in yet another coordinated crop-top and high-waisted-skirt set — this one a delicate shade of green resembling mint-chocolate-chip ice cream — while Kim Kardashian stuck with her tried-and-true Balmain, sporting a leather top and zebra skirt. Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley and Selena Gomez tried more intentionally adult looks, in a sleek Peter Pilotto frock and Saint Laurent suit with slicked-back hair, respectively.
