A six-foot-long boa constrictor named Rocky bit one of Nicki Minaj’s backup dancers during a Friday dress rehearsal for her “Anaconda†performance at the upcoming VMAs. The dancer was treated on site by an attending medic and shuttled to a local hospital out of “an abundance of caution.†Since the dancer was bit by a nonvenomous boa constrictor, and not, say, a rattlesnake, she should be fine. MTV also reports that Nicki expressed concern about what happened and asked, “Did she get bit by the snake?†As for tomorrow night’s performance, it looks like another snake will sub in for Rocky. Maybe he just got really excited by all the butts?
