Fashion Rocks, the light-show-driven hybrid of music, models, and Ryan Seacrest, returned to the stage last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with its fair share of highlights — Justin Bieber’s striptease, Victor Cruz’s new band, and, of course, J.Lo’s “Booty.” But before the show, everyone was buzzing about the day’s biggest announcement: the new Apple Watch. The Cut caught up with attendees on the red carpet to see if they would wear the thing, what technology they would actually want to wear, and what Apple should make next. Some suggestions? Electronic acrylic nails and a beat-machine necklace. Click ahead for more.

MooreWhat piece of technology would you want to wear on your body? "I think, I don’t know if it has been invented — it probably has — but I want to wear some plain-looking glasses that have the ability to digitally see everything and look at a building, and scan it and look behind me, and I would [wear] that. That’s kind of reaching. So if like, I met you, I would be able to maybe pull up your driver's license, infrared-type stuff."

The Apple Watch came out today. Would you want to wear it? "That’s awesome. I have to get one. Just to try it out. I also tried the new Google glasses one day, and they were like, mind-blowing, because it doesn’t exist yet. Just imagine if someone comes to you with the first television ever — it’s like there are people in the box!"

"I haven’t tried Google glasses. I try to keep tech off my body a little bit. With my daughter, she’s screen-free, so it’s a delicate balance. I don’t have an answer to that yet."
