According to Vanity Fair, Lena Dunham and her Girls co-showrunner Jenni Konner are teaming up to produce an HBO documentary about Bindle & Keep, a Brooklyn-based bespoke tailoring company that has become well known for making suits for trangender clients (you can read the New York Times profile of the company here). The documentary, called Three Suits, will follow some of the company’s clients while “examining the significance of the process for a set of customers with complex gender identities.†Dunham tweeted excitedly about the project on Monday, writing:
It remains unclear whether this new sartorial side-project will improve the tailoring on Hannah Horvath’s onesies.
