Former Office star John Krasinski just sold two new comedies to NBC. Deadline reports that Krasinski has landed two new comedy projects through his production company Sunday Night. The first untitled series is a single-cam comedy written by Shawn Wines and co-executive produced with Aaron Kaplan about “a disgraced law student who, out of options, is forced to turn to the exotic and lucrative world of NYC garbage collection.†The second single-cam comedy is a workplace/family show from former 30 Rock writers/producers Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan set on “a middle-aged ad executive who unexpectedly loses his job and cobbles together a ragtag team to launch his own grassroots agency from his garage.†While Krasinski will serve as a producer on both projects via Sunday Night, he’s not expected to act in either show.
