For the past couple of seasons, the Cut has made a habit of sending illustrator Bil Donovan to paint the season’s buzziest runway shows. This Fashion Week, Donovan camped out (with watercolors, pencils, and easel in tow) at Rosie Assoulin’s presentation on Tuesday to capture the voluminous, colorful collection in a series of in-the-moment, impressionistic sketches.
