An Evolution of Greta Gerwig’s Eclectic Style

Greta Gerwig got her big breakout role in 2012 with Frances Ha — but she’s appeared in indie films for years. And, since the beginning of her career, her off-screen style has been all over the map: She favors everything from cardigans and bohemian print scarves to plunging black gowns and revealing jumpsuits. Gerwig made a recent appearance at a Chanel dinner clad in the brand’s signature tweed, chose a dramatic one-shoulder Theory gown at the Costume Institute Gala, and wore a citrus Zac Posen dress for the CFDAs.
