The Lego Movie was a huge hit, which means that, just as naturally as winter follows autumn, more plastic toys will soon be turned into CGI spectacles. Next on the docket is Playmobil, which is getting a film adaption from the same people who are handling the upcoming Little Prince movie. No word on plot or characters, but we’d love to see a Stepford Wives–style exploration of the real reason everyone has the exact same vacant smile on their faces.
