See Florence Welch’s Hippie-Goth Style
Soon after Florence Welch came onto the scene in 2009, she became known for her magical stage costumes: long, flow-y garments from Chanel or Gucci that would billow behind her while she moved. Her wispy, winged capes occasionally recalled the spirit of Stevie Nicks, and she’s also become known for going barefoot during performances. Often, she incorporates a goth touch into her ensemble, be it dark lips and eyes, or vampy black gowns.
We rounded up some of Welch’s best looks. From a YSL swan-style coat she wore to the 2011 Met Ball, to a sheer Valentino couture she chose for the 2011 Oscars, to the Gucci floral pants set she braved with a skinny scarf at this year’s LACMA gala, see her style highlights in our slideshow.
