Despite the snow and sleet, the fashion set trekked uptown to the Whitney last night for Valentino’s Sala Bianca 945 — a one-time-only couture-collection presentation attended by everyone from Anna Wintour and Franca Sozzani to Ben Stiller. The Cut sent backstage photographer extraordinaire Landon Nordeman to capture a more intimate look at the decadent party, from the whirl of colorful, candy-striper coats worn by Nicky Hilton, Harley Viera Newton, and Shin Min-a to the museum’s Insta-friendly room of disembodied hands — a centerpiece of the event’s special Fornasetti installation.
