Workaholic-slash-Ãœber-efficient-actress Jessica Chastain (who was in four movies in 2014) didn’t always used to be such a productive force, according to EW. “I dropped out of high school,†she revealed to the magazine, in this week’s issue. “I was not a hard worker. I was a terrible student. Eventually I got my adult diploma, but I did not graduate. And it wasn’t that I just dropped out and never went back — at the end of the year I had too many absences to graduate.†Chastain was absent because she would cut class to kick it in her car and read Shakespeare. This, obviously, was a blessing to humanity, because this led to a string of early Shakespeare roles and an eventual audition at the Juilliard School (life is weird that way). “There are kids out there that aren’t doing well in school — and I hope they never think it means they’re stupid,†she added. “It’s all about finding where your interest lies and finding what you’re good at.â€
