Joining with former Cosby Show co-stars Phylicia Rashad and Keshia Knight Pulliam, Malcolm-Jamaal Warner has addressed the long line of sexual-assault allegations against Bill Cosby. In an interview with Billboard, Warner specifically says he “can’t speak†to the truth of the allegations against his TV dad (the same words Pulliam used) but says he’s saddened by the whole affair. “He’s one of my mentors, and he’s been very influential and played a big role in my life as a friend and mentor,†Warner tells the magazine. “Just as it’s painful to hear any woman talk about sexual assault, whether true or not, it’s just as painful to watch my friend and mentor go through this.â€
