Between deadpan quips and aggressive kisses, the actress explains Newcastle Brown Ale’s Band of Brands campaign with shameless aplomb. Newcastle’s idea is to attract a couple dozen brands with modest marketing budgets to make one super budget and create one fiscally responsible (probably 30-second-long) Super Bowl ad. “Football is a team sport,†Plaza says in the ad to drill the notion home. “Now advertising is, too.†The magic can happen here.
