Throughout fashion month, the Cut is ranking street-stylers on their outfits, crowning a winner of our Golden Peacock medal each time. Last year’s winner and Amazon Fashion’s NYFW Style Expert, Shiona Turini, will help us filter through all of the photos shot by Youngjun Koo to pick out the best-dressed of the bunch. Agree? It goes without saying that yesterday was cold. As in, if you expose any part of your body it will likely freeze off. And surprisingly, the street-stylers took note and bundled up in their best furry coats. Chiara Ferragni went full-Muppet in a Fendi chubby paired with MSGM mittens while Kate Foley wore a Sandy Liang creation straight from her fall 2015 presentation. Even the dudes got in on the action, with Nick Wooster pairing his man-fur with a skirt and Coltrane Curtis donning a black cape. But naturally, there had to be an inappropriately dressed person or two. Click ahead to find out who braved frostbite and who beat the subzero temps to win the crown today.
