If you thought Mad Men teasers were vague and woozily portentous, just wait till you watch this new House of Cards spot. Ominous, context-free dialogue marries with the spooky legs of stand-ins; digital clocks are suddenly as sinister as a ghost with a to-avenge list; and there seems to be the suggestion that someone is going to get stabbed to death with a high-heeled shoe. Also, apparently Frank Underwood smokes inside the White House. Take a cue from Jed Bartlet and at least take it to the colonnade, dude.
