In case you forgot, Hot Tub Time Machine is coming out with a sequel. Fortunately, Uproxx did not forget and unveiled this scene from the movie that takes us a decade into the future and predicts Jon Stewart’s successor. It’s a short clip, but from what we can see, 2025 looks awesome: Jessica Williams hosts The Daily Show, Jennifer Lawrence stars in a Meryl Streep biopic, Neil Patrick Harris serves as president, and Rob Corddry dresses like an intergalactic matador. HTTM2 is not the Oracle from The Matrix, by any means, but in case you were curious, this is what it would look like if Williams were in fact the one to take the reins from Stewart.
