To close out Black History Month, last night The Nightly Show explored some of the many issues black women face today. Wilmore was joined by The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl’s Issa Rae – who currently has a pilot order with Wilmore at HBO – as well as Fordham professor Christina Greer, New York Live’s Jacque Reid, and comedian Marina Franklin to tackle Patricia Arquette’s Oscars speech and some of the obstacles black women face in workforce.
