Jenny Slate had a fantastic 2014 thanks to her starring film debut in Obvious Child, and it looks like she finally might get her own TV show. According to Deadline, Slate’s regular role on FX’s Married has been downgraded to recurring status due to a pilot she’s currently developing for the network with Obvious Child writers Elisabeth Holm and Gillian Robespierre, who also directed the film. No details on the pilot have been revealed yet, but with memorable roles on Kroll Show, Parks and Recreation, and Bob’s Burgers now under her belt, it’s about time Slate got a show of her very own.
